What can I expect when I do a tour?

After we meet up at a pre arranged place we’ll head down one of the many lanes for a brief chat and introduction (5-10 mins) where I’ll go over a few things including how I set my camera up for street and travel photography, I’ll show you straight forward, simple camera techniques to improve your photos and capture many unique images using the lanes a our classroom. I try not to load you up with too much unnecessary information, however I do encourage participants to ask questions and challenge themselves a little, or a lot as we explore the laneways encountering different photographic situations as we go.

Where do we meet 

We meet up at an easy to find location, close to the State library of Victoria on Swanston St, or if you are staying in the CBD I can pick you up from there. Once your photo tour has been paid and confirmed, exact meeting location details will be sent to you.

No need to bring a tripod

What if it's raining or overcast?

Good photos don't rely on blue skies, tours will operate in most weather conditions, only in extreme and dangerous conditions will tours be cancelled.

Disabled access  

Generally the tour is ok for disable participants, contact me for further information.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates can be purchased for private tours only and are valid for six months from date of purchase, upon booking you will receive a confirmation email shortly followed by another containing a pdf Gift Certificate with unique booking code. Use this code when booking your tour. 

Booking and Confirmation

It is important to provide the following with your booking: 

Most frequently used email address & Mobile phone number

Confirmation of your booking will be sent out on completion of your booking. You will be alerted of any cancellations or changes via mobile phone.

If you haven’t received a confirmation email within one day:

Check your Spam Folder - your email server may have accidentally marked the email as spam and removed it from your inbox

You may be ineligible for a refund if you miss a tour due to the following reasons:
